Three years ago...

Three years ago, the Supreme Court handed down the extreme Dobbs v. Jackson decision, stripping away the constitutional right to an abortion in our country. The consequences have been devastating.
Cruel abortion bans. Delayed critical care. Unnecessary suffering.
As a mother, I refuse to let my daughter grow up with fewer rights than her grandmother. And as a physician, I refuse to accept that even one patient will go without the care they need.
That’s why every single day in Congress I’m fighting to restore and expand reproductive freedom. I’ve helped introduce legislation to:
- Reaffirm the right to emergency abortion care,
- Defend access to medication abortion through the mail,
- Prevent disinformation in abortion-related advertising,
- And recently, I called on the Department of Veterans Affairs to ensure veterans can access the full spectrum of reproductive health care.
I won’t back down. Abortion is health care. Abortion is a human right.
Do you believe every person should have the right to make
their own health care decisions—including abortion?
- Yes
- No
