Town hall reminder + changes to Social Security

I also need to make sure you’re aware of upcoming changes to how the Social Security Administration verifies the identity of those applying for benefits. Starting April 14, the Social Security Administration is changing how some people verify their identity when applying for retirement, survivors, or family benefits. If you can’t verify your identity online, you’ll need to visit a field office in person. Find a field office near you here or by calling 800-772-1213.
