WASHINGTON, D.C — Today, Congresswoman Maxine Dexter, M.D. (OR-03) released the following statement on House Republicans’ funding bill, which slashes nearly $23 billion in veterans’ benefits, jeopardizes Social Security, cuts nutrition assistance, and claws back infrastructure investments in Oregon’s 3rd Congressional District.  

“House Republicans are dead set on hurtling from one fiscal cliff to the next to appease unelected billionaire Elon Musk.
