Words cannot express the deep sadness I am feeling as the epidemic of gun violence continues to penetrate every corner of our country. Whether it's my children, who I’ve sent into schools and onto college campuses knowing a shooter could walk into those halls, or the halls of Congress, where they worry that political violence could impact them personally.
