Your voice fuels my work in Congress. That’s why I’m hosting two upcoming town halls—your chance to share your thoughts, ask questions, and tell me what matters most to you.
House Republicans have unveiled the details of their budget plan that will make Americans sicker, hungrier, and poorer. Let me be clear: this budget is a betrayal of working families. It will cause millions of Americans to lose their healthcare coverage, threaten our public lands, and cut vital food assistance for our most vulnerable-all to fund massive tax breaks for billionaires and big corporations.
Last week, I traveled to El Salvador to demand that Trump uphold due process, the rule of law, and our constitutional rights. It is because of you—your calls, your letters, and your voice that I went. It is also because of you that I will continue to use every single tool at my disposal to defend our shared values and build a better future.
I need to hear from you. Join me Wednesday, April 30th at 5:45 pm PT for my next telephone town hall.
I’ll answer your questions and share how I am fighting to build communities where we don’t just get by—but thrive. Sign up below to receive a call from me OR stream the town hall online at dexter.house.gov/live.
Sunday marked my 100th day representing Oregon's Third District in Congress. From the start I've been in the fight-for your rights, your future, and our shared values.
We've built real momentum. And we're just getting started.
Here's a snapshot of our work:
REMINDER: I’m hosting a town hall with State Representative Thuy Tran this Sunday at 3:30pm at Parkrose Middle School (11800 NE Shaver St, Portland). Mark your calendars, bring a friend, and come ready with questions. Conversations like these drive my work in Congress. I hope to see you there.
This week, I hosted a telephone town hall with over 12,000 people. We talked about immigration, healthcare, rising costs, and how to stop the dismantling of our democracy. These conversations guide my work in Congress.
If you weren’t able to join, I still want to hear from you! I am hosting an in-person town hall next Sunday, April 6th at Parkrose Middle School in Portland.
I hope to see you there.
Join me this Wednesday, March 26 at 5:45pm PT for a telephone town hall.
I’ll give you the latest on how I’m working to protect Oregon’s values in Washington, D.C.
But most importantly, I want to hear from you and take your questions.
Sign up below to receive a call and be part of the conversation. You can also listen in at Dexter.House.Gov/Live.
This week, House Republicans passed what’s called a “continuing resolution” to fund the government through the end of the year. On paper, this should maintain current government funding levels. The reality? It’s a blank check for unelected billionaire Elon Musk and DOGE’s policies that continue targeting Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid for devastating cuts.
I want to hear from you.
Please join my in-person town hall this Saturday, March 1 at 2:30 pm at the Centennial High School gymnasium.
